Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions
How to place a booking with us.
You can book online through this website, send us a message on Facebook, give us a call on 087-7600422 or send us an email at info@kenmareeventhire.com
How far in advance do I need to book?
You can book at anytime but we do recommend you book well in advance to avoid disappointment as some times of the year can be very busy. For a last minute booking give us a call.
How much does it cost?
The cost of all our equipment is on the web site. Prices may vary depending on location and on intended use, private/ corporate.
We offer full weekend bookings only during Holy Communion season with an additional charge being applied. This is due to the fact of there being multiple communions on the Saturday and Sunday of these weekends. Instead of taking separate bookings for a bouncy castle on the Saturday and on the Sunday, you will keep it for the Saturday and Sunday at the extra charge. This system is also easier on our drivers.
When is the equipment set up?
All inflatables are set up well in advance of your party/ event time. Marquees can be erected 2/3 days prior to the event so they can be adequately decorated by you. We will contact you well in advance to arrange a set up time.
What kind of access to the area where the inflatable is going?
All our bouncing castles are moved using a hand trolley. Access to the area needs to be at least 3ft wide for combi units, small obstacle courses, Bigger obstacle courses/ slides will require 4ft+ Going through a building is usually not an option as doors are usually too narrow and if it has rained sometimes water will drip out of the inflatable during transport.
What sort of surface is required?
The surface needs to be relatively flat, preferably grass. The surface needs to be clean, free from sharp objects and free from animal litter. If you mulch your lawn (if you do not collect the cut grass) we request that you have it done 5/6 days prior to set up of the inflatable due to freshly cut grass on the lawn destroying the inside of our bouncy castles.
Inflatables can also be set up on hard surfaces such as smooth concrete or tarmacadam. just let us know if this is the case in advance so we can bring anchoring weights with us. A weight surcharge may apply.
How much space is required?.
You will need to have at least 2m or 6.5ft at the front or back/ entrance or exit of the inflatable and at least 1m or 3ft around all other sides of the inflatable. Ensure the surrounding area is clear of children's toys, swing sets, garden furniture etc.
